About Us

Education+ is a local organization run by UCSB students passionate about promoting educational equity in the Goleta, Santa Barbara, and Carpinteria areas.

We aim to close the gap between in-school learning and after-school educational opportunities so every student has the chance to thrive. We believe education should be accessible, empowering, and tailored to each child’s unique needs.

At Education+, we understand that learning is not one-size-fits-all and it should be enjoyable! Our tutors take the time to get to know each student’s interests, strengths, and areas for growth to cultivate a genuine love for learning and set them up for long-term success. Whether your student needs help catching up, tackling homework, preparing for tests, or getting ahead in future classes, we’re here to help.
